Federal Community Service Work Study

 

Put your Work Study hours to work for you. Do something that you will enjoy, that you will learn from, and that you will feel good about at the end of the year. Work study jobs are available with local non-profit Community Service agencies, paying $8.00/hour and up.

 

If your have financial aid eligibility and would like to:

  • Gain new skills
  • Explore career choices
  • Aquire hands-on experience
  • Solve community problems
  • Get a better job after graduation

Students in the past have worked:

  • assisting doctors at neighborhood health centers
  • tutoring at Boys and Girls Clubs
  • assisting teachers in local schools
  • supervising recreational activities at alternative schools
